Cathy Crosman believes audiobooks are a way to reach people. They can offer support, reflect growth, entertain, and awaken. She brings her experience and care to all stories by connecting with the author’s intent and turning wonderful text into wonderful audio. With a storied voice and ageless kindness, Cathy guides listeners through crumbling post-apocalyptic landscapes, through the inimitable lives in biographies and memoirs, and through psychologically upending mysteries and thrillers. Rooted in her connection to her listeners, Cathy’s voice journeys through stories with warmth and ease.

A mother and teenage son on a cross-country bike trip

About Cathy

Cathy has been a programmer and web developer, cat rescuer (with the occasional dog, possum, and crow thrown into the mix), woodworker and crafter (ask her about hikaru dorodango!), writer, gamer, peaceful vegan, and avid road tripper. She grew up in Maine, lived for decades in and around Boston, and is now back in Maine in a little house in the woods.

For her entire life, Cathy has been a reader of just about everything. Her current passions are LitRPG and post-apocalyptic fiction, but there's always room for a juicy romance or exciting mystery. She loves words - how they sound, the emotion they can convey, how putting them together in different ways can change a world or create something entirely new.

With experience in many vocations and avocations, education both formal and earned, empathy for people and creatures, and a love of storytelling, audiobooks were a natural next step. Cathy brings depth, warmth, and awareness to narration, and a commitment to helping bring a story to life... branch by branch, leaf by leaf.
